About this work:
It's been a long time since I had the energy or motivation to paint. Since July, I've had 3 major flair ups, treated with IV Steroids, hospital stays, new drugs, new tests, new...you get the picture.

This picture references the prejudice of segregation, only in this image it's disability vs ability, or unloved vs loved. And growing out of both places is a single person, hooked to a machine, prodded with needles, and filled with thousands of strangers: the strangers that comprise my treatments of plasmapharesis and IVIg, or the strangers that are just like us, or strangers who straddle both worlds.

Original Sold. Prints available soon.
